Pets, PomPoms and Peppa…our week at bake-a-boo x

Last weekend was a crafty one at bake-a-boo. We (the Belles) have been busy crafting things for Halloween, can’t wait to decorate the shop – we love Halloween! But also we have had some crafty tea parties. Christine worked with Yasmin and her friends in a pom pom making workshop as part of Yasmin’s hen party at bake-a-boo. She has a winter theme for her wedding in a few weeks time so the ladies made pom pom decorations in silver and white, which will form part of the decorations for the big day. Afterwards they all enjoyed a well deserved afternoon tea, with some cheeky prosecco too!

We then celebrated Sarah-Jayne’s baby shower and these ladies got creative decorating cupcakes in between enjoying afternoon tea and showering Sarah-Jayne with gifts. Best of luck to her and the arrival of her little bundle of joy.

It seemed to be the weekend for celebrating some very vegan birthdays – with Ellie, Christina and Suzy having vegan celebration cakes for their birthdays. We also decorated a sugar free cake for little Nora’s 2nd birthday, a chocolate Peppa pig themed cake for Addy’s 2nd Birthday and made some special cupcakes for Amy and Marie for their celebrations over the weekend. Oliver also had a tiger cake and a second cake with an animal theme for his 6th Birthday party, his dad told us he was having a zoo themed party with real animals for the children to see and pet. This sounded like an ace party, hope you had a good one and enjoyed your cakes too Oliver!

Yesterday we made a ‘smash cake’ for little Amber’s 1st birthday. This seems to be the new(ish) cake trend from the US which we are embracing in the UK at the moment. Amber was having a photo shoot and was going to smash the cake for some really fun pictures to remember her 1st Birthday by. We hope her mum shares a pic or two with us, we’d love to see it!

Looking forward to what this weekend has in store for us, and we hope to see you there!

Lots of Love from the bake-a-boo belles xxx
