Our Spooooooky but sweet weekend

So this weekend just gone we all celebrated Halloween, it seems like everyone really got into the spirit of it this year, I think it’s nice to have something to celebrate at this time of year when the weather turns and it feels dark all the time! We all dressed up for work and Hannah’s amazing face paint ended up only lasting half the day as it was irritating her skin, but for the first few hours she looked super scary we were worried she was going to frighten all the children away!! We stayed open late and put all our pumpkins out and had a huge bowl of sweeties for all the trick or treaters going by, it was great to see all the kids (and mums and dads for that matter) costumes. There were also some really little ones who were really shy, but we had a great time giving out sweets to everyone. Christine also made some amazing ‘injectable’ cocktails, these looked so horrible but brilliant at the same time and tasted delicious too!

Fridays are becomming almost as busy as saturdays these days and we started off the weekend with lots of people coming for afternoon tea. We also celebrated Claire’s Hen party with a cupcake decorating activity. On saturday we celebrated Hannah’s hen with her 21 guests taking over most of the tea room, we hope they enjoyed the rest of the weekend celebrating. We had the bump and baby club ladies in on Sunday morning, and then we celebrated Wendy’s birthday. Sitara and Phyllida had birthday cakes at home from bake-a-boo and Chantel had a whole array of brightly coloured spooky cupcakes for her annual Halloween party.

We hope you all enjoyed the weekend – next thing to celebrate…..bake-a-boo’s 9th birthday comiong soon! yey!!

Lots of love from the bake-a-boo belles xx
