bake-a-boo has always been a popular venue for hen tea parties, as well as Birthday celebrations and baby showers. We serve afternoon tea and create personalised tea parties for hen’s. Due to the demand and the current trend for CIY (Craft-it-yourself) hen parties, we have also collaborated with some of bake-a-boo’s ‘crafty and creative’ friends to create some special tea party packages for hen parties, baby showers and celebrations. You don’t have to be a hen to take advantage – why not book a tea party to celebrate a birthday, or just a get together for the girls?
All of our tea parties include our afternoon tea set menu, served on vintage china, as well as decorations, including flowers, sparkle, confetti and favours for each guest. We also create a make-a-wish box for the bride-to-be with her name on it, for each guest to write her a message or wish as a keepsake after the party.
When booking a celebratory tea party at bake-a-boo all guests also have access to our dressing up box, which is filled with treasure to add some additional glamour to the party guests – have fun dressing up for the duration of your party, with feather boas, fascinators and funky hats, pearls and beads, long gloves, quirky glasses, masks and other accessories.
In addition to your tea party you can choose to ‘add on’ one of our fabulous activities or workshops to add to the experience.
Our ‘add on’s’ include
- Fascinator making (as featured in Cosmopolitan Bride magazine)
- knitting, crochet and/or sewing
- Feathered Headpieces
