Here is all you need to know about Easter at bake-a-boo…..

We have some fabulous Easter inspired workshops for adults and then lots of workshops and fun for the kids in the Easter holidays. We are also offering a special afternoon tea from the 29th March – 9th April which you can book to get you in the mood for Easter and let yourself go chocolate crazy in this indulgent time!

We will be closed on Easter Sunday and Monday the 4th and 5th of April – but we are open as usual on Good Friday and Saturday the 3rd of April.

Here’s the lowdown……

Use Easter and springtime as an excuse to treat yourself and learn something new. Our workshops are hosted by experts in each field and are conducted in the relaxed setting of our tea room, tea and cake is, of course, served throughout each workshop. Go on treat yourself!

Sunday 28^th March – 10am-1pm

Easter knitting for beginners (For adults)

With Claire of ‘make do mend’

The ‘menders are really looking forward to teaching you how to knit cute egg cosies just in time for a whimsical and truly unique Easter gift. A great class for beginners, those who have just started to knit, are rusty or even just fancy making cute cosies to keep their Easter Sunday boiled eggs warm while they take them up to breakfast in bed for a loved one. Learn to knit, purl, cast on, cast off and to make cosies which you can then decorate as you wish, using buttons and embellishments provided.

Tea and cake will be served during the workshop.

£30 per person – All materials and tools will be supplied, as well as refreshments

Wednesday 31^st March – 9:30am-12pm

Easter flower arranging workshop

With Liz Inigo Jones of blue sky flowers

Come a make a floral display for your Easter table and create a small gift for visiting guests. Just bring your green fingers, everything else will be provided including tea and cake

£45 per person - All materials and tools will be supplied for the workshop, as well as tea and cakes

Children’s Easter Afternoon Tea

Chocolate cupcakes topped with mini eggs

Bunny shaped vanilla biscuits

Chocolate dipped strawberries

Served with your choice of chocolate milk or apple juice

All served on a cake stand with mini fluffy chicks!

£7 per child (up to 12 years)

The Easter tea is available to book from Monday 29^th March until Friday 9^th April

The tea must be booked in advance and we require a 50% deposit when booking. Please call us on 020 7435 1666 to book your tea with us.

Please note we are closed on Easter Sunday and Monday the 4^th and 5^th of April, but we will be open on good Friday and Saturday the 3^rd April as usual.
