A few cakes from the weekend at bake-a-boo
Tomorrow is my birthday and I have a lust list on my phone that I put links of things I’m lusting after, these are non essentials, and just for me things. Seen as it’s my birthday tomorrow I thought I’d share some of my favourite things on my wish list.. There seems to be a fair few cats, a love of the palm print for summer and splashes of shiny gold, I also love that the gold star sweatshirt is from a designer local to me in Great Missenden. The Audrey Horne Pin for my love of her, and Twin Peaks. I’d have the Daniella Draper bangle engraved with ‘Fly me to the moon’, probably my favourite song. There has to be a Zebra thrown in because my little god daughter named me Zoe Zebra when she was little and I love this vase that hangs on the wall. A couple of practical things, this great keyring bobbi pin holder which I so need for all my nurse hair up do’s! And an oil diffuser I would love to make my house smell gorgeous. Then there’s the three books at the top of my wishlist at the moment. Especially Christie Watsons The Language of kindness because, as a student nurse I know I’m going to relate to so much of it.
Now December has arrived, we are officially feeling festive!! Join us for one of our Christmas crafting events for adults or children at
Affectionately known as Boo to my friends, I opened bake-a-boo in 2006 and after 10 years of making cake dreams come true, hosting fabulous tea parties and releasing a cookbook I have now closed the doors of the tea room. Plagued with severe endometriosis and several food allergies I’m turning all the bad into something good and after being a great patient, I’m now training to hopefully become a ‘great’ nurse! Here I’m sharing my journey, and talking health, my inspirations and life after bake-a-boo…..and of course CAKE! You can take the girl out of the cake shop but you can’t take the cake shop out of the girl so find out here how I can still help you with cakes and treats and parties galore x
